Red Sox to add Kotsay

Espn's experts Peter Gammons and Buster Onley is reporting that the Boston Red Sox are close to inking a deal that will send OF Mark Kotsay to the Sox as they are in the heart of a playoff race this move if is gets finished it would provide more options for the Red Sox with injuries to J.D Drew and the Red Sox bench.

Mark Kotsay was held out of the lineup Tuesday night when the Braves hosted the Florida Marlins the reason he was scrathed was because a possible impending trade. He will likley be traded to the Sox then join the team at Yankee Stadium before the big series is over.

The other possible suitors for Kotsay was the Phillies and the Brewers but now their intrest has died off .
