Pavano gets nod Saturday

It is offical the return of fragile Carl Pavano will come saturday night
at Camden Yards when the yanks play the Orioles. He hasnt thrown a single pitch since 2007 when he started two games in 2007 for Yankees while going 1-0 with an 4.47 ERA. They picked Carl Pavano over Phil Hughes who will pitched his scheduled start tomorrow night tomorrow night for AAA Scranton against the Lehigh Valley

Hughes was terrible for the first time since coming off the D.L last Sunday night. He is 2-0 with an 3.54 ERA while he has given up 17 hits, 5 walks while fanning 16 in 20.1 innings pitched in the minors.

Joba Chamberlain whos on the DL with ratator cuff issues continued his throwing program. Joba threw 20 fastballs from 60 feet on flat surface. Jobamania is scheduled to have a session on Saturday in Baltimore where he will likley throw fastballs and changeups
